Post traumatic arthritis

Causes
malunited acetabular fractures, femoral head fractures, pelvic fractures.

Treatment
Hip replacement is often required to treat pain. Hip replacement with the Proxima hip or other uncemented hips with large diameter heads are better than conventional hips with small diameter heads. Hip resurfacing is another option.
