Hip replacement | Resurfacing surgery is a major surgical procedure. It deserves utmost care and preparation. Since it is an elective procedure / surgery / operation, you the patient must be in the ‘best possible condition’ for the surgery.

AP & lateral x rays of your affected hip and AP of the pelvis with both hips

You should apply an antiseptic solution Chlorhexidine 4% all over your body below the neck, twice daily for a week prior to your surgery. This will reduce the number bugs on your skin and lead to a successful outcome.
